The quiet math of hotel perks

Hotels charge everyone the same rate. What differs is what arrives with the reservation.

When I book a Fora preferred partner property, your confirmation often comes with notes the front desk actually reads: breakfast for two each morning, a property credit toward the spa or dinner, an upgrade at check-in when the category allows, late checkout on the day you leave.

None of that shows up on a booking site. You pay the same — often more on the big sites once resort fees and upsells stack — and you get less of the experience.

The quiet math, on a week at a good resort:

  • Daily breakfast for two: $60–120/day, off the bill
  • Property credit: $100–200, once
  • Upgrade: the difference between the room you booked and the one you'd have paid up for
  • Late checkout: the difference between a rushed morning and a last swim

That's real money and real ease, and it costs you nothing to plan with me. This is the part of an advisor that people don't believe until they see it happen.
