Who we are

Waylume Travel LLC ("Waylume Travel", "we", "us") is a single-member limited liability company formed in the State of Mississippi and operated by Eric Tomchik as an independent travel advisory practice. These Terms of Service govern your use of waylumetravel.com and the planning services described on it. By using this website you agree to these terms.

Our role: advisor, not supplier

Waylume Travel is a travel advisor. We are not an airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator, insurer, or other travel supplier, and we do not own or operate any of the travel services we recommend.

Every reservation is provided by an independent third-party supplier under that supplier's own terms, conditions, and cancellation rules. Those terms govern your booking. You are responsible for reading them before you travel.

Host agency and how bookings are made

Waylume Travel LLC is an independent travel advisor of Fora Travel. All travel reservations are arranged and booked through Fora Travel, which acts as the agency of record.

These website terms cover your use of this site and our complimentary planning services. Once you ask us to initiate a reservation, that booking is additionally governed by Fora Travel's own terms and conditions as agency of record, and by the individual supplier's terms. Where those terms conflict with these, Fora's and the supplier's terms control the reservation itself.

No bookings are made and no payments are collected on this website. This site is informational and promotional only. When you are ready to book, planning takes place by email, phone, or text, and payment is made directly to the travel supplier through the supplier's own secure checkout. Waylume Travel LLC does not accept payment for travel services and does not take or store your card details.

Seller of travel registrations

Travel arranged through Fora Travel is sold under Fora Travel, Inc.'s seller of travel registrations: California Seller of Travel Reg. No. 2151995-50; Florida Seller of Travel Reg. No. ST43973; Washington Seller of Travel Reg. No. 605329242.

Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.

Planning fees and commissions

Travel planning with Waylume Travel is complimentary unless a specific planning fee is agreed with you in writing in advance. Where a fee applies, its amount and terms will be stated before any work begins.

We are typically compensated by travel suppliers, which pay commission on qualifying completed bookings. This compensation does not increase the price you pay. Our recommendations are made on the merits of the trip; where a supplier relationship could reasonably be seen to influence a recommendation, we will tell you.

Experiences and tours: Waylume Travel is a GetYourGuide affiliate partner registered under Fora Travel, our host agency. Commissions on qualifying bookings made through those links are paid to Fora Travel and shared with us under our advisor agreement.

Books and travel goods: as an Amazon Associate, Waylume Travel earns from qualifying purchases made through the links in our bookstore and travel shop.

Prices, availability, ratings, and cancellation terms shown for affiliate products are set by the third-party retailer or operator and are confirmed at their checkout, not by us.

Your responsibilities as a traveler

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, including the legal names, dates of birth, and contact details used in reservations. Corrections made after booking may incur supplier fees.

You are responsible for holding valid travel documents, including passports, visas, and any entry, health, or vaccination requirements for your destination and any country you transit. Requirements change; verify them with the relevant authority before you travel.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for every trip. If you decline coverage, you accept the financial risk of cancellation, interruption, medical costs, and lost baggage.

Website content and intellectual property

The text, photography, design, and other content on this website are owned by Waylume Travel LLC or used with permission, and may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without our written consent.

Content you post in the community area remains yours. By posting it you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and store it in order to operate the site. You are responsible for what you post, and you agree not to post anything unlawful, misleading, or infringing.

Destination information, advisories, and travel news on this site are provided for general guidance and may not be current or complete. Verify anything you intend to rely on.

Limitation of liability

Waylume Travel LLC acts solely as an advisor and intermediary in arranging travel. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, delay, damage, or expense arising from the acts, omissions, defaults, insolvency, or negligence of any travel supplier, or from events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, strikes, civil unrest, government action, and health emergencies.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or our services is limited to the amount of planning fees you paid to us, if any.

This website is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Mississippi, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the version in effect, and the date below shows when it last changed. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
